Kruszwica

Kruszwica is a Polish town known for the legend of Popiel who was eaten by mice. However, this place isn’t popular only because of this story but also due to its architecture and monuments.

This little town is full of early-medieval marks. Some of them are the examples of the best remains of the Middle Ages in the whole of Europe.  There is also the famous Mouse Tower constructed in 1350.

The heart of Kruszwica is a round-shaped place surrounded with small and elegant buildings. Although it’s wide and covered with cobblestone, there enough space for greenery. Just in the middle the municipal authorities have located the unique Flower Tower, the model H3000.

The town square in Kruszwica was renovated in 2014. In result the place became an aesthetic meeting point with small flowerbeds. The Flower Tower H3000 planted with red pelargonium appeared just in the centre. Kruszwica is the first Polish town that decided to choose this huge model in its public space arrangement.
